Does TFF think it’s worth spending big on milk powder?

Used duffields mid tier last year, no issues, reared 260 healthy calves, lost 1 to bloat, and a couple of others to pneumonia.
I have a little more gas in the tank to play with this year, so I can afford to use a better/more expensive powder, I generally use 5-6t
the trouw nutrition energizer looks great, but is it worth spending big when 90% of what I rear are dead at 24 months? Have seen some literature online of a beef reader getting 1.7kg dlwg when using this product.
I think it will be worth it for my beef heifer replacements, but what about the rest?
thanks all.

You will never grow a calf as fast as you can when it's on milk. For dairy replacements I'd say you won't ever go wrong with the poshest powder you can buy. For the beef job, that will be a calculator and envelope job.

Be wary of buying powders containing a lot of vegetable protein, they aren't setup to digest that properly at a young age. It's the skim vs whey debate that is important. Milk proteins are expensive and it is easy to get confused when comparing them.
