We have had/ still have Jess, Jane, Ellie. Gf has Branston (cos the father was called Pickle) Penny, Tuppence, Pip, Jenny, Ruby, Kim, Taf, Fudge, Brock, Roxy

Late father's labradors & terriers were named after drinks,eg shandy whisky,guinness etc. They were often called by unmentionable names
not fit to print!
Mine have been Judy,Tessa,Nell,Meg,Ben,Mist,Lad(collies)Rastus,
Fiesty(Jack Russells)

think most members of the public would be blushing at the number of swear words preceding the dogs name! for sheep dogs at least! :eek:
The Dearly Beloved is a sucker for housey programs where they ask the prospective purchaser what they are looking for in a new home.
One of my main criterion would be the ability to talk to the dogs at full volume without upsetting anyone.
Bit like where we are now.(y)

Best to have something that when you shout it at full volume in public doesn't make you feel a prat.
yes good point, one of my mates has a terrier called daisy, which he shouts in a high pitched voice to get her attention!
