Saw one set up on the way to lanark, what would you charge an hr for that, interesting idea, alot of dog walkers around here.

This came up on a feed or something. Reckon all those lockdown dogs will need some exercise whilst everyone goes back to work. A tired dog is a happy dog. @ollie989898 ,one for you?

Farm near us has two and is setting up a third, so must be worth doing, dug in drainage pots,good fence, built a few obstacles and installed a bin, I don’t know what they charge but I’ve heard it’s always booked up

We have 2x 1.5 acre pens that are deer fenced.

£12 an hour or £6 for half an hour
They book and pay for a slot on the website and that sends them a code for the gate with there time and date.
To do it right cost a lot but it’s still better return off 3 acres than sheep
we have a decent location near lots of people but still a drive for them, you have a run a good social media campaign/website which can be costly and deal with dog trainers etc that want to hold classes or get discounts for training lessons, like everything it looks and sounds easier than it is
Also you have to deal with the general public, which sometimes ring up unable to read an email containing the gate code, or cannot work a padlock, or complain that the grass is to long/short, the list goes on

Did you require Planning Permission for Change of Use? We have been approached by two parties looking to do this in two different local authorities - one has had pre-app advice saying Planning is required and the other is adamant it isn't (they have nothing to back up that claim).
From a professional standpoint I would say that if you just rent out a field then no it would be de-minimus to the agricultural unit but if you have created hardstanding, structures and enclosures for a use other than agriculture then planning is required.

There's one just down the road from me, mega handy if I go away and my aged parents look after my dogs, because they don't have the confidence to let them off when I'm not about. Is £3/half hour slot.

How tricky is it to do 'change of use'?
It depends on the site. If you aren't providing any fixed structures then the main consideration is parking, highways, impact on neighbours etc
