Dog stealing

Something flamable you can quickly spray on them & then ignite
That's considered an offensive weapon and you'd be in more trouble than the dog stealers if plod caught you. Purple spray in the face though I could get away with as it's part of my work kit so not unreasonable to have a can handy in my pocket.

Speaking to neighbour last week and he'd seen a white van man out bothering an old lady with a terrier so made a big thing of knowing the woman saying he'd been looking for her. Van man quickly scarpered. Lady said thanks because he'd been asking about the dog etc.

Neighbour is ex Special Branch so he phoned someone with the plate number- came off a written of Fiesta in Coventry. The police followed it up and did them for the false plates, but no dogs found.

His police contact told him they'd found an artic in Belgium with paperwork for a load of fruit and veg but the trailer was full of dogs. I can only imagine they were due to come in to puppy farms in the UK but he didn't know which way they were bound.
