Would anybody have any pictures of the type of welsh ewe that would typically be sold through Dolgellau by any chance?
They're the shittest type, i dont understand the keen'ness to buy them
Iceberg? They're cheap to buy and can be highly stocked as their maintenance requirements are low.
Put them to a terminal then kill everything and you'll struggle to best the ROI.
Or, given optimum ewe size is 55-60kg, they make an excellent base to grade for a maternal flock. Iceberg diseases being the only fly in the ointment there.
Cold an flu like symptoms, very contagiousIceberg?
MV, Johnes, CLA, OPAIceberg?
They're a 35-40kg North Wales type hill ewe.
I went to the sale last year and prices were very very strong.
You gone for Nelson?I think I know the sort, their prices seem quite strong judging by the market report.
Bit small for my liking, got some bigger sorts coming Saturday but god knows what type they are, too many to get my head round!
