well the website says all the right things but would i buy a heating appliance made in spain!!!!!!! noop. im sure they will do the job, but for how long, how easy to get parts and technical help when it breaks down at midday on friday when theyre on a siesta!!LOL, Personally i would steer clear of cheap boilers from spain, italy, poland etc. only asking for trouble.

I have been to the Domusa factory and met there engineers and to be honest they have a very good and unique concept. but that concept does come with some minor faults that are solvable with a bit of setting up. i have some of these boiler fitted out there and they perform very well considering the price of them. so in my opinion its not one to write off.
you also get great technical support from a UK based company and all parts are also available through them. i know this is a very late reply to the original question but i just thought id add this in case any other users are looking at these boilers.

I have one of these boilers and have had a fair amount of problems. Mine keeps burning the igniters out and my friendly company that fitted seem to charge me the earth for a call out to fix a very cheap looking part. You talk of a uk based company where I can get parts from ? I am after buying these igniters myself and fitting them to my machine ? whats the company called that sell these parts ?

what will you find is that the igniter will be made for 220vac but as you know here in the UK we quite often get well over 240vac, I know some installations that are getting nearly 250vac this high voltage tends to burn out things such as igniters and other things as well,

Pretty cheap analysis. All products are subject to technical help, I've dealt with most of Europes offerings and if parts or exchange is needed all have the same turnaround give or take imo.

As for the op, dive in and tell us your experience, it can't be too technical, after all @pennine biomass its just a burning chamber.

Yeah I know what your saying and that was the why it was a lot of bother to start with. They put a voltage stabiliser on and that has helped but still it burns them out one every 3 months rather than every other week

We have had a Domusa NG Class 43 boiler since July 2015 and it has needed constant attention. It has recently started playing up again and I have identified significant damage to the burner pot and grinders which will now need replacing for the third time. Renove in Liverool are great with their support but is this the standard that I should be expecting?

Just for the users of Domusa boilers, i have been maintaining these boilers in England and Wales for years and having been to the factory a number of times for technical training there is no doubt that they are among the best biomass boilers on the market (when they are set up correctly and the parameters are set to meet the demand) nearly every boiler i service is running more efficiently and without needing parts from year to year. if you live in Scotland use the energy repair team, they know what they are doing as well.

Domusa boilers are not bad if they are setup correctly, been correctly installed and correctly commissioned. Domusa have reconised and mended design issues and are bringing out new upgrades this year.

that says it all, recognized design issues and are bringing out up grades, too late the horse has bolted. spain is not the best at making things. the spanish built suzuki vitara is a prime example.

Mine is a pain in the behind and requires constant attention. A neighbour has one and it has had no issues.Mine is 42 kw,his is 24 (ish). It seems they are the same boiler with different burner units or the software is set up differently. Mine has been "set up" at least twice a year every year since installation,2015. It gets through two burner cans a year without fail despite these being beefed up,has had 4 complete new burner/grinder units, 4 motors that drive the flue cleaning system and auger feed ,5, I think heat plugs or whatever you call the things that start the fire, an upgraded computory bit, and currently the tubes have to be cleaned monthly because they tar up so badly which is a pure bast**d of a job as the tar has to be melted out,not fun. However it still works out cheaper to run than oil,as long as I don't charge my time...... All this with the cosher pellets, always from the same supplier, and to top it off we had an audit which is another story. Ofgem are not easy to deal with........... However Renove and Energy Repair Team are my best friends!
