Don't know too much about him, he is a mayor, so some experience. Trouble for the Dem's is they have been pulled way to the left in recent months, a gay man so that may cloud some voters thinking alas..............I just feel that in this election cycle the Democratic party's leading candidates are either too old, too radical or (hate to say) too white.
They have some great female upcoming prospective leaders, maybe it will be the next go around before they rise to the top, would like to see a woman take the job.............whichever party.

Do I recall the great Mr Trump struggling with his own heritage. If I recall a few years ago when setting about the EU one day concerning tariffs, think he compared EU to China on that occasion, that his mother was born in Scotland and his father in Germany.
