That wall isn't going to work, doesn't matter how high or how long. That border is so long you won't stop it.

I think the vast majority of illegals just get into the US on temporary visas and simply never leave. The wall won't stop them either.

Regardless of whether there is a wall there or not, or what the policy of the current government is, there are many thousands of people who depend on people crossing the border to make a living. Catch the Mexican take them back to Mexico and catch them again has been happening for decades. I'd imagine many of those employed in it would like the flow to continue, as would the thousands of American owned businesses that depend on cheap labour from illegals to stay in business.
It's just used as a political football.

Exactly- this has been my point all along. The only way to stop people making their way north to the US is to remove the reason they are trying to get there in the first place.

People will enter illegally whoever is it charge, it's good for business and jobs, just like the military needs conflict. Illegals are needed along with foreign enemies.
Imagine how many people would be unemployed in America without them.
