Currently have a Dutch alternative to gale breaker type door on the end of a shed. It’s approx 6m wide x 4.5m high. It has been hit by a student and bent beyond repair. It takes a lot of wind as it’s exposed. What would people recommend as a replacement?contemplating a steel roller shutter as ventilation in the shed is good. Need access once a week for scraping out.

That is going to be quite a wide roller shutter, I have had trouble with them flexing and coming out of the guides in high wind but maybe mine were the cheap sort.

I would be very tempted to try and put a sliding door in there if you could, it would be cheaper and more reliable if you are only opening it occasionally.

I'd suggest a sliding door made from a predominantly angle frame, with yorkshire boarding instead of cladding. Cheap, simple and it will last a lot longer than some galebreaker
