I'm happy to be corrected, but is that not just a length of 12mm thick flat/angle concreted in so that it sticks out the required amount?

And if its not, would a length of 12mm thick flat/angle concreted in so that it sticks out the required amount be a suitable replacement?

Thank you for the reply. I could use a bit of flat but was hoping to just replace a 3 metre section . It looks like this
