If it's debt for replacement windows then he needs to remind each and every PoS that by the end of the month "glass is easily broken".

A catapult and a bag of pea gravel, and a visit at random intervals until the debt is paid in full.

Or he could go through the courts, like a normal person

Yes, you would have thought he'd have explored that option sometime in the previous (quote) 5 years.

- He could just roll over "like a normal person" and let this bad debt take his house and destroy his life.
- Or, he could do something about it, and start playing by the same rules as the idle f**kers that think they've 'won'.

Has he applied for ccj’s against the debtors? Most folks are running on credit so get the wind up fast if they are threatened by the courts, we have applied on line for several which have been successful, it does cost about £80 iirc but it does work.

I think we need more info. Are the 'bad debts' money owed to him or money he owes other people? Is he sole trader or Ltd? If he owes money are they banks or trade creditors? If he owes money on cards, when were the cards taken out.

If he goes bankrupt, any equity in his house will be surely assessed and he may lose it anyway.

Etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.
