I've had one of those for the last 10 years. not a bad plough. Started off pulling it with a NH7840 and now mainly on a TM155. Never really had anything done to it other than grease and wearing parts.

We ploughed for about 10 years with one with a TM120 then latterly a 6080. They are only rated about 120hp though and we broke many bits on it. Turnover shaft failed twice I think. Still got it though and it does odd bits.

Will be fine if not too much hp on front or on strong land. They are not as strong as they look. I personally would look for a old DP120.

We have a DP100 with dd bodies, 20 years old, has had a bit of welding done over the years and a few bushes but still does a good job.
Have had Lemken and Kvernland ploughs on demo but kept the Dowdswell.
Excellent backup from dowdeswell right down to bits you wouldn’t think would be available!
It is a bit heavy though!

I moved from a 4 furrow dp8 to a 5 furrow dp7 back in1997 and have only put wearing metal on it so far. Looked at the 100 series which were new at the time but felt the dp7 was a stronger and proven plough. The depth wheel is more puncture proof. It was an issue with the 100 series at that time I believe.
