Doxstar and mcpa mix or 2,4D

I don't think many folk would mix the two together.
Corteva (Dow) advise against mixing some of their grassland herbicides with phenoxy herbicides e.g. MCPA, 2,4-d as it can compromise translocation of their herbicides to the roots (google; DoxstarPro Tech Sheet)

Mainly docks 3 weeks after silage cut. A local farmer told me to try it because he thinks the 2,4D takes the dockstar to the roots better. I don’t know just thought I’d try it.

24d causes uncontrolled top growth so I imagine the plant would be extracting reserves from the roots to do this. In order for doxstar to work it need to be translocated to the roots when the plant is building root reserves at the rosette/dinner plate growth stage.
