DPF removal/deactivate

I am sure I have seen somewhere on TFF of a Member offering a service to "sort" the DPF system on a tractor, can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I have had it up to my eyeballs with the bloody DPF system wanting to get involved constantly, due to the type of use my "new" Kubota 9960 gets here.

This thread seems to have taken off so...

Anyone here with personal experience (even 2nd hand;) ) of a deactivated DPF or AdBlue system tractor?

I ask as I see that several American writers report improved fuel consumption and a modest increase in power after the DPF setup is taken out as well as no more Regen hassles. (y) Not really investigated adblue setups as not relevant to me... as yet!

Is there actually any increase in emissions of a properly running engine, running decent fuel??

I Know of one local that had it done, all well until tractor developed a fault, dealer couldn't access ecu to diagnose. So it was new ecu time.... ££££ that would have paid for a lot of litres of ad blu...

thats rubbish, the map just alters limits in the ecu, worst case secanario the mapper could revert to std to diagnose the faults no need to a new ecu, even then the dealer will be privy to the original maps and could just revert the map on the ecu back to std.
