Dr Mike Yeadon, Ex VP of Pfizer

I listened to a podcast he was on a few weeks ago, he spoke a lot of sense and is obviously not a tinfoil hat wearing idiot. The most memorable feature of the interview was when he was describing how Patrick valance, who he knows and has worked alongside, has swallowed the kool aid and is going against all his training and experience when advocating the current restrictions.

His words were along the lines of “I know he knows this is bulls**t, I just haven’t worked out why he’s doing it”.

i was really amazed that during my trip to England pre and during lockdown how little educated debate there was. There was input from the opposing side but the media is happier dealing with nutters and conspiracy theorists rather than people who have sensible alternative views.
We don't have a media any more. At least not one you can access from a metal pointy think on your roof or a sat dish. It's all agenda.

Just came across this tonight? Anyone know of him? Any thoughts? Maybe I’m just susceptible to a conspiracy theory, but I am highly sceptical of the national media coverage (or complete lack thereof) of covid.

The are lots of issues with Yeadon's analysis. While you can say at certain points infection rates were low and if you test a population with low incidents then feasibly with any test (none are 100%) you could end up with more false positives than true positives. However this is flawed as testing is largely targeted at those with symptoms and those in contact with known positive cases. Do it is not the same as going out and conducting a random selection of the population. Also the relationship between number of tests and number of positives would grow at a linear rate. However this hasn't been seen positives results have grown exponentially to the number of test conducted. Also false positives don't present at hospital but there is a strong corrolation between areas testing high and hospital admissions. You can say that admissions might be other respiratory viruses but their are significant differences which is how the virus got spotted in the 1st place. Yeadon went down the 'There would be no further waves' route back in September but this has proven incorrect. Look to the US where mitigation has been very disjointed and they are reaching hospital capacity in a number of areas, and the next few weeks could well see a particularly desperate situation there.

How do we know it has, if the testing is highly inaccurate? Results we get fed on the news are deaths for any reason within 28 days of a (possibly) positive test, it could basically be complete disinformation.

Yeap any death within a 28 day positive goes down as a Covid whether that person was Asymptomatic or not. The issue has been in the news quite a lot. A person who has a serious pre condition could contract Covid - recover then die a week later from the pre illness. A person receiving cancer treatment or an elderly person who contracts respiratory condition - has Covid then dies from any other respiratory condition will go down as Covid. My understanding which I read is that a GP can rightly put Covid down on death certificate (for instance a sudden death with respiratory symptoms) as Covid without any test evidence. Totally wrong use of data. If you read the ONS data on main reasons for death in UK these deaths are not going down as accurate data then. I have not seen any information on seasonal flu either.

What gets me its all one sided drip feeding and many journalists noticed this - People like Anna Brees who has been uploading vids on youtube but these have been blocked and she has been threatened. What is wrong with questioning data? Cant any scientists stick their heads out of the norm? We were told that Covid was like flu yet a know a few people who have had it and say its been like a cold and recovered well. That wont be reported in the media its all doom.

Well I've lost 2 uncles this month and nothing to do with COVID but both have gone down as COVID. I'm going to start a legal challenge in the new year to change that because it's utterly ridiculous and this will involve the UK and Aus legal system. I don't care. They did not die from COVID. I am sure of that. So they better get ready for a huge class action and repayment for all the jobs they took, including mine as barman in my local and all the stupid f**kwittery they have caused.

This has been my point if you at any point dare to say that you think the response to the virus is disproportionate then you are classed either as having no empathy or some kind of Covid denying nutter. Much of this stems from the fact the media especially TV and radio is towing the Government line the aim of which is to frighten society into compliance.

The truth should be able to stand any scrutiny, it should even welcome it to prove itself. This certainly isn’t the case here.

Very sorry to read about your 2 uncles :(
Were they even actually tested for Covid?
and if I may be so forward, what did they die from?
I don’t want to add to your pain so feel free to ignore this post.

Alzheimer's (both) and cancer. They would have died anyway. I need to get copies of the certificates to see what the clowns have put on them.

Edit: I have been told by family members that both have been put down to COVID so I don't have any confirmation of that. I should have said that but was a bit hacked off when I wrote the post.

I can see why you are angry and for your own peace of mind need more info.
I hope they both had lives that they enjoyed.
Look after yourself physically and emotionally.
