Drain all water from parlour with Double Diaphram Milk pump

We use a double diaphram milk pump to pump the milk from in our simple 10unit Alfa parlour. We dont have recording Jars or meters just cluster removers.

However we currently do not have the ability to drain all the water from the plant at the end of rinsing the plant. We would like to get to a stage where this is possible, it would then be possible to put the pipe in the milk tank and not have to leave the milking parlour pit after putting on the first 2-3 clusters, as currently the first of the milk has to flush out the ~2-3L of water which remain in the plant.

Is it possible to install drain plugs to do this, with a diaphram pump.

I have seen it done with electric milk pump, but not sure is it possible with diaphram pump.

Get a air blast. Cost about £300 to set up. Blasts all remaining milk into tank and then water out of lines. Need to ' Blasts' for around 1 to 2 minutes to clear line. Really good bit of kit,

Its electric motor, the electric motor powers the diaphram pump and the vacuum pump

Put a drain tap at the lowest point in the line, absolutely no reason it won’t work.
