Cotterills civils. Talk to Joe say i sent you. You can get plastic chambers all in one then set up metal covers on top with dowels and props then some premix around the chamber. Fill with water first. Text me your address so we get it right on the invoice this time!!!!!!!!!!!

What's driving over it? If not much sit a length of 300 mm twin wall on a concrete pad 300mm below bottom of inlet to act as a sump then back fill circular hole with concrete and place grill / man hole on top

I've been using an offcut of 300mm twinwall stood up, concrete the inside and float, then drill a 110mm hole in the side and put the soil pipe into that nearer the top so it gives a sump, then concrete a cast gulley drain on top,

+1 Put some concrete round the outside of the drum, so that it’s just acting as a mould, and holds the weight of the proper grid sitting on the top (I wouldn’t sk8mp on that bit).(y)

Surely depends on the loading abve? A plastic can won't have the support twin wall does unless they stick mesh in the concrete - how far do you go though, same old story

My point was the plastic can only holds the concrete in place while it sets. The additional strength in a length of twin wall is negligible when an artic lorry or a big tractor & trailer rumbles over.

I disagree, track over it with a digger, it's very strong, doesn't need to be buried deep before an artic can cross without crush.

1m of twin wall is hardy expensive either

Just get a pre made plastic yard or road gulley, and pack it round with plenty of concrete, put grid on top, Concrete in, life’s too short
