Thanks. Trouble is, I have plenty of my own to do but at least for one farm I have plans for the drains and they are bang on. Takes some kit though, tracked digger, drain jetter, ferret coller (yes really), means of getting water to jetter, tractor to run jetter, wellies BIG wellies

Depending on what drains you have it is sometimes just s easy to pop some new flexi in and pick up everything you find rather than farting on trying to unblock .
Stone drains are almost better dug out and replaced.

In my experience there is not a new drainage system/pipes that can be installed that will compete with a stone drain that's clear and working,

Yes but it is getting it back to clean and working that is the challenge.

Oh yes i don't disagree with that , but it can be done , get a jetter up them and flush with plenty of water , always pays to put a length of solid pipe on the outlets ,
