draining ,ditching & jetting lets get this water flowing

My first attempt at cleaning out shucks, only done wee bits before to put in a pipe or two for bridges etc but da had to rush home to take brother to hospital so I was just told "im away, clean them out" :ROFLMAO:

What is the small trencher? What sort of depth can she dig to? Looks a tidy handy size that doesn't need too big a trailer to shift it

he little one is a mastenbroek 1012 but used to be a road trenches then we made a field drainage back end and pipelayers for it set it up to grade with laser but putting a electronic valve in the system and will dig to 1.5m deep but handy for horse paddois and sports field as we also made a soil conveyor for it . it was cheaper than buying one for the purpose as we had it standing in the shed doing nothing

I remember when I was running 3 flails in the late 90's it would be a unusual to come across a cleaned out ditch. This is changing but only very slowly. :cry:

I had a job a few years ago to cut a overgrown ditch out before the digger arrived, they were loosing 4 acres of crop a year because it was so wet, we didn’t know what to expect, the digger man revealed many newish plastic drains all bursting to run, so it makes it obvious that nobody has checked these drain ends for years. Unbelievable
