well, i suppose draper come with a lifetime garrantee, not many women come with that,
i av had mine for almost 50 years but the britool sockets are older and still look like brand new:(
just shows what a good investment the sockets was, and had a lot of pleasure usuing them over the years

I've had a big multi socket set for over 10 years. 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2". Been a great set until this year when I have had the 1/4" rachet fail and several small bits break. They have a life time warrant on them but to get parts change you need to have the original receipt. Try finding that after 10 years plus.
Surely once they break their life of over so not covered?:)

I'll find it when I have time to start looking back through the books but as a one man band its not top of my priority list at the moment. The trouble is have I had them 11 or 15 year or anywhere in between and whick years books I need to look at to find them.

I've a 1/2 inch Draper Expert socket set. It's about 8 yrs old now and has taken some stick. Often use a big breaker bar on it and not broke a socket yet. It's surprised me and I'd have another no bother.
I also have a set of Draper Expert combination spanners and they are very strong too. We did a very silly stunt involving a long pipe on one the other day and a hammer and my mate reckoned it was a miracle I didn't break it. Seem good value.
Somebody on here said Halfords expert were the same, but I couldn't say I've looked.
