Dream products to make life easier

Hi all! I am an engineering student with a passion for agriculture looking for your help!

I have to design a product for my final year project so I wondered if anyone has any regular problems on the farm or wish they had a device that could do something for them let me know!
It could also be
- cheaper and less complicated existing products/equipment
- a device to improve farm safety
- a new security method for equipment
- a management device to help keep track of stuff on the farm

I am more than happy to collaborate on this and work with you to make the solution as good as it can be. There will hopefully be a prototype to test at the end too!

If you or one of your friends is looking for an interesting job, we have a vacancy for a graduate engineer on the farm. We have an anaerobic digester which needs work to improve its performance in terms of better machinery and improved control algorithms, a cheesemaking operation needing equipment designing and building, various pieces of farm equipment we are redesigning, and projects to electrify as many machines as possible. I am a Chartered Engineer myself. Message me if anyone would like more details.

You don't really have a 'passion for agriculture' at all, do you?

I am not from a farming background but I have worked a lot with horses! I grew up in the Cambridge area around G's farm but when trying to decide my career path I wanted to work in an important sector. Farming is really important and fascinating! I have lots to learn for sure but this is my first step into a topic I love :)
