Those saying RM Williams boots are pricey, well perhaps on the face of it, but if looked after they should last a life time!

The old man has a pair getting on for 15-20 years old, like putting on a pair of slippers! My own are a mere 6 years old, managed to wear through the leather sole so then had a cobbler put on a more practical rubber sole. If they don't last another 15 years i'll be very disappointed!

I could only get a couple of years out of them, before they looked knackered or falling apart. They were too expensive back then, and that's when they were £175, maybe I'm just hard on boots

I copped out and went back to my peasant roots Brantano 25% off code and another 20% off when they didn't deliver next day. The one in my local town was so handy before it shut, with a massive closing down sale I missed, never failed to get fixed up with work boots or shoes in 13 or 14 off the shelf. No farming today, my feet and back hurt too much

I'm my 2nd pair of RM Williams boots I didn't resole the 1st pair soon enough so ruined them after 10 years Bought thoses ones in Perth in the early 90's .
So the 2nd pair I went for the rubber sole . Keep think I've ruined these ones when I done summer work in them but they always polish up great . Bought a pair of Bourbour boots after 2 years there dropping to bits

I buy expensive boots that people say last years and they're knackered within 12 months. Think the people who say they last wars don't actually wear them

I went back to the dealer, he reckoned I should have 2 pairs, and alternate them, to let the breath

I can only get a year out of red backs, but it's the cow shite that rots them (n)
