Quick run around my local supermarket this afternoon. Chap in there wearing red overalls covered in sh1t. Filthy wellington boots and to top it off a dear stalker hat….he was one of our local farmers. Is this reasonable behaviour, walking around in public like a mental patient? I know it’s his job, but I doubt a surgeon would walk around in blood splattered scrubs would he. I’m not suggesting he showers and wears a suit but he could have taken his overalls off and slipped a pair of boots/trainers on his feet.

I did that at the hospital last year, after I’d caught my hand at work. The security guard looked at me a bit strange, when I told him i‘d left my boots outside before someone tries to throw them away

Hey they are my best wellingtons il have you know.. and i thought the deer stalker made me look like the gentleman farmer i am.
I only popped in for a bottle of iron bru and a copy of the flower aranging weekly!!

Yrs ago I went to sign a grazing agreement in the office of a trusteee of the estate . He rang me up to pop in and sign it so I did ...straight from market ! He wasn't impressed but I just looked at him and said " your in your working clothes ....and I'm in mine " he laughed and said " you win"

The dirty boots things a bit disrespectful, but the clothes aren’t a problem at all. We’ve a local farmer I’ve often had the misfortune of following around the co op with rather short shorts on that obviously ripped wide open some time ago. Damn good job he wears boxers underneath else I’d have thrown my deerstalker down in disgust and driven to Tesco where the clientele at least wear pyjamas

Local supermarket had a sign up asking customers to refrain from wearing night attire when shopping. We can match Walmart dress sense in Shropshire .

Thought you had seen me ...... but my overalls aren't red either John Deer or Claas.
Wear them in the supermarket without giving it a second thought. usually try to remember to wash my boots first though

Unfortunately that’s usually me, I’m more comfortable in my working clothes than anything else. I would however never leave the house wearing pyjamas
