Dribble bars

I use Bateman Accurate bars which I like however looking to future I may look at the BFS auto streamers however due to the way the Bateman rb boom folds, I need some (4) shorter bars with a flexi pipe to make it fit. Does BFS do such a thing ? @Bfs
Ie, if a bar has 4 streams per bar (0.5m), then on my Bateman I need a bar with 3 streams and a forth outlet on a pipe to a single outlet and a Lh and a RH version.

My new BFS dribblebars are an absolute pita to put on, hypro ef3 fitting, single line so need to take them off

New ones are often a bit tight, until the seal "wears" in a bit. Try to persevere as they give far superior coverage than a jet - and we also make fertiliser jets - not height sensitive at all.
Any problems please call @Billericay Farm services 01268 710237

If you decide you can’t be doing with the swapping and breaking of dribble bars, I went for the landquip umbrella nozzles, not height sensitive, been all good so far, your welcome to come and have a look at them on mine or I’ve a few spare you can try on yours.
Thanks for that.
I tried today.
There's 6 nozzles that won't work just because of the frame of the boom.
But apart from that they look to be good.
The red nozzle with blue insert looks to be the kiddy.
I'll get a set of the other discs too just in case.
Now got to see if I get any quotes on a set.

I will ask @Billericay Farm services to respond in detail. I know some have butchered the BfS AutoStreamer and blocked the appropriate channels inside it - each outlet is fed by a separate channel. It's not quite the same with the old Dribble Bar or the new Dribble bar II, as there is a single channel feeding all 4 outlets. Is it possible to fit a flexi pipe attachment and mount the Dribble Bar higher or lower than the position where the boom fold is a problem? So long as the Dribble Bar is in line with its neighbours it will still give the same application. Alternatively, if this option is not feasible,I would suggest where a boom fold prevents the use of a Dribble Bar type applicator, then slot in a fertiliser cap to match flow as close as possible.

Ok, got the tank, got the liquid n, got the sprayer. Now need some dribble bars, been warned off the nozzles as being too height fussy.
So which bars are most user friendly? And work best?
Bateman rb16 single line with triplet nozzle holders, so need to be removed for spraying.

You can use the BFS dribble bars with a control disc or our BFS variable rate auto streamer bars

Don't know if anyone else does similar? I have blocked off 2 outlets on each of the 4 dribble bars that are directly above the tramlines that way I don't apply fertiliser to them, helps avoid greening ears at harvest and also leaves 2 pale wheel marks around headland as no trams put in at drilling.
We supply half blanked off dribble bars and half auto streamer bars

Looks like I could get a solution to my issue from BFS , thanks for answering my question.
Just a simple question, but do the auto streamers work from say 100ltrs/ha too 400ltrs/ha without changing anything other than in the cab ie rate controller?
If that’s the case then must be brilliant for V Rate N. Got a customer who wants to go that route but I don t know how it works ie I guess with VR on liquid it can only vari the rate on whole boom width ie 24m rather than in smaller sections ? Ie you can’t have some parts doing say 180 ltrs and others doing 250ltrs ,it’s all 24 m that changes ?

with spray there is some form of technology on a nozzle by nozzle basis where it pulses the nozzle on and off to get the correct volume? <didn't pay too much attention as I thought it would be well out of my budget

What are people’s thoughts/ experiences with the new BFS 5stat Fert nozzle?
Have they been out long enough for people to use them in the field ?
@SimpersTradeCounter? @Billericay Farm services?

The 5 Star fert caps have been out probably 8 years now and are used widely where people can't use a bar type applicator or have revolving nozzle bodies and don't want to remove them every time they want to go spraying. They are variable rate and go from approx 80 to 250 l/ha depending on speed and pressure. @Billericay Farm services have all the technical info on 01268 710237.
