If you can’t go contracting with it technically I’d have to do a hell of a lot of difect drilling at home to justify one even with the grant
Is that going to comfortably hold a 500 kg bag of cereal seed, especially if there's a bit left in the tank?
The Simtech has a 900L 'box', which is about right for that size wise IME (much better than the old model anyway), although the oblong nature of box drills makes it more of a PITA of course.
but carrying too much weight also spoils drills imo anyway. a modest drill filler ( whcih wouldnt need a handler/loader in the field ) or simple hopper filler on the handler or loader or even a tie off /slider type spout of some sort on the bag is all doable practical options to sort the issue(s) .i queried thus abs that say that it is marked as 750l but in reality over 825l.

Moore Unidrill, 32 row well over 30k with hydraulic fan and set of weights according to the book Agrilinc send every so often.
can do if needs must although im not overly keen on that as it puts you a bit under the bag fiddling about ,unless youve reeeally long armsIndeed. And it’s not hard to tie off the bag as it empties really.
I did, and was pleased to see it gone, not great on slot closure and prone to pushing up in front of it and I had the front rubber tyre version. Wasn't impressed with the 750a either tbhDidn't @Adeptandy try a Moore last year, but not keep it long?
Yes it is.Would the T sem grass be eligible?
With the 12k grant I think I could learn to live with the small hopper.Yes it is.
We bought one last year.
It's ÂŁ19,000 for a 3m one, spoke to them today.
Just shy of ÂŁ120k for triple hopper. Single hopper about ÂŁ10k cheaper. How much is a 6m avatar asking for a friend
Thankyou so much, the feeling has gone awayJust shy of ÂŁ120k for triple hopper. Single hopper about ÂŁ10k cheaper.
I would hope 32k is for the air drill with markers on, as it was 31k last year. I know steel has gone up , but 8k in less than a year? Surly not.The simtec was 24k this spring when the previous grant scheme was in place but I was late to order and they couldn't get me one before the deadline. The price above makes it 32k now.
