I’ve had the iso bus upgrade fitted to our old co 4 and I would recommend anyone having problems with these old boxes to do the same.

local claas/horsch dealer did ours, cost more than 2k but less than 3,

i do how ever have both boxes, v24, in full working order, all the wiring and assorted connections for sale if anyone needs some bits 👍

Did that include changing the control modules on the drill? I spoke to our Horsch dealer and they reckoned it would cost around 6k to do as I would need the box plus changing all the modules on the drill! I aborted the plan at that point.
can I ask does your box make an alarm sound if any of the sensors go off? Ours shows on the display but no audible warning. Our dealer said they are only silent alarms on the drill manager but I find that hard to believe. I’m fed up with looking at the boxes every few seconds to make sure everything is working ok all the time !

I was quoted 7K because I have blockage sensors that would have to be replaced with new compatable ones

Well I our case all the modules have gone, completely new wiring system, but we only had three to start with. We now have an iso connection, no in cab box, horsch icon on the tractor screen, in our case a fendt vario. As we have rtk, no markers to control, but have all other functions, tramlines, electric seed rate control etc, but no blockage monitor as we never had that in the first place.
As for audible warnings on the old boxes, yes it would bleep if the seed metering slowed down or stoped, or if you went too fast or too slow, not sure about fan speed, but I think you could disable it.
How ever I have got to admit I have not drilled much using the old boxes, only got the old girl in spring 20, 50 acres of beans, 100 acres of wheat, some oats and cover crops, so maybe some of the warnings are silent, just never came across one.

When I had a co3 with the same drill manager boxes the sensor for low seed level would beeb along with the low fan speed sensor if it dropped below the parameters set up. It would also been when lifted up whilst turning and resume silence once down seeding again.
