50mm since mid week, we were very lucky as we were about 3inches off the main beck that goes through us coming over. Lots of standing water and a couple of margins with about 4inches running down them.

Nice day today though and drying a bit

I have got resigned to it, its the walking past the 10 tonne of dressed wheat in the shed that’s my irritation at the moment :)
For once I didn’t buy all the seed I needed, as I can pretty well get it next day from two merchants. I’d also cancelled the new variety Extase, when they told me the price, so have 1 ton and a bit in the drill left .

65mm here last three days brings us up to 273mm since 22 nd September . Normal year for me would be around 1000mm / yr . Not drilled any white straw crops only OSR . Not overly bothered, see what happens in November but nothing will go this week especially as it's meant to rain again Wednesday.

Spent the extra hour this morning putting new points on the plough, hoping to turn some in tomorrow. Still got some light ground that will drill....hopefully this week.
