Is the front tank not designed to be on running on the wheels or do you need grip?

Think its designed to run on land when you want consolidation like on a plough / combi drill set up ?? - in this application I don't want any more wheels on the soil than I have to have

Are you managing to get the seed in the ground in the wheelings, they look a bit doughey.
Fair play at cracking on, none the less.
Yes, surprised there covering well, I’ve set the power harrow up so I’m putting the drill down the same wheelings as the power harrow. It is to moist really, but once drilled it’s settling down well ( for the year )
It’s certainly a challenge

Managed to get 70ac in today before it defrosted to much. Kv tine drill into light loam min tilled soil went really well. JD750 into mustard covers on much heavier soil is leaving open slots and started to block as the sun came out but it put seed into the ground. It’s sound silly but I think we could cross roll after the JD due to sheer amount of mustard cover to try to close the slots a bit better.

Got another little field in today, ploughed it yesterday, it’s out of grass with a liberal does of FYM. The field is on a flood plain it wouldn’t plough a couple of weeks ago.

About 3 inches, picture doesn’t show terribly well but trying to lift the capping in places. 650’s at 8psi. Have to admit to being parked up now, when the frost left if got very sticky indeed!
