How's the recently drilled stuff going to do now it's going to be stood in pools of water again? Flying up over England yesterday looked like a hell of a lot has been drilled, couldn't see flying down a week ago because of being in Isle seat and cloud but presume a lot was done in the last week.

What can u do? The forecast was for no where near as much rain as we have had. We had nothing drilled and the weather in this country is crap

I rang the weatherweb chaps on Thursday before I pushed on they said no issues 12mm max as we should have got over these cyclone storms not moving away over us. 25mm so far and local weather station just hit 121mm/hr. thinking of bringing forward the emigration plans we have

Caribbean - get real storms there!

I would hope that stuff drilled recently will not sit as wet for as long as that drilled before the weather broke in September.

It's one of the most depressing things watching soil get washed away :( all fields local to this drilled with well established wheat, tramlines across the hill but it washes down a track :(

I'm hoping the same but it's in now, rightly or wrongly.

It's been damned if u do, damned if u don't, all over yet again this last week or three, Wombat.

At this very moment, it's still coming down so hard and fast that I'm rather glad we didn't actually get any WW headlands put in for the 3rd time here after all.

Was very tempted.

26mm so far

I have a stream that’s diverted across a wood and 20 acres of newly drilled wheat of mine so I need to see what’s blocked in the neighbours

What a crock, might as well have gone to the pub this week, may have been more productive

You chaps in Yorkshire/Lincs are having a terrible time. I’m sorry @Wombat . Much less rain than you guys in the desert that is Cambs.

Thanks it’s just a bit soul destroying after 5 months of this crap. Booked the days off work, Get kids to school, crack on, miss a load of kids after school stuff working late then the weather fecks it all. Ok we are only small but I thought we had actually achieved something This week after nothing done upto now.
