I'll be starting to drill Spring barley on the lowland today, just relieved I got my barley seed cleaned last week.
Yes I do work on my own.

I think you have more drills than anyone in this country , even me .
I doubt that ?.......and I am trying to sell 2 ?I think you have more drills than anyone in this country , even me .
Still very wet here. Parts of fields would drill, but it would mean leaving big chunks undrilled. What to do for the best is the big question . 7 yrs ago we had a foot of snowGot a load done and rolled, sprayed off worked stubbles on heavy ground, nice bit of tilth on top but feel it needs a tickle up as sheep have compacted it down a bit, going to try a new to me Proforge Inverta, then bosh over it with either combi or Vaddy. Ground round here still hellish wet in places.
What we have found is everything needs lifting to get some air into it to dry it, so the 2 old flexitines have come out of hiding.Been out yesterday with the rapid just to see if my plan will work, unfortunaly ground is to hard on top and it just ran along the top, scratching just a very shallow seedbed, tried ciltipress, which in itself wasn't to successful but better than the tpp tilth which was horrible, trying power harrow today
