Drilling grass seed

Have managed to get some ground worked and rolled down ready to drill grass seed, unfortunately we’ve had an inch of rain on it!
Just thinking of spinning them on before rain tonight and hoping for the best??

If the seed bed is nice & lump free;
Spin on, drag-harrow. Roll if dry.
Personally I hate the lines a drill leaves unless you go over again at 90 degrees.

We cross drill as it's direct drilled but when we created a seed bed we always broadcast it on a Cambridge rolled seed bed before and after the broadcaster

First attempt at spinning it on here this year.
Grass harrow fan packed in so spread it with Kuhn Axis instead.

Are you sure you weren’t spreading chips?
