Don't bother. Drilled ours with all openers used and full grown plants seem to have plenty of room to branch out. Just drilled next years the same way. Are you adding N?

Broadcasting the prills post drilling then? I'd just use the drilling in a standard configuration, plenty of room for each plant. Better use of that tap root as well.

I am using the same N rate without shutting coulters off on a 750A. Will be interested to hear if you think the increased concentration of fert helps. Will you be doing any at standard rowspace to compare?
