9 k best drilling speed for not ridging too much or bringing too much up from underneath
9 kph? No chance. I'll need another week at that speed! The ridging starts over 12 kph so I'm playing with the paddles on the back to try and reduce it.

Had that storm come over, dumped 7mm rain in very short order, most spectacular lightening display I have seen in a long while!!! Almost up together here, just 20 acres of Mulika left to drill. Went up to Leicester today and an awful lot of ground not drilled up, could see where some had tried ploughing but stopped as it looked too wet, only saw 2 drills going, a Quadtrack/Vaddy and a small 3m combi and that was it!!Off topic.
Are you now back to wet land after tonight’s deluge?
I do hope you escaped it from where I was working at Tetbury and at home GL7 area,a real deluge of rain.
9mm here last night. Welcome for what's already drilled but unwelcome for the hundreds of acres still left to sow.

How much do you have left now ?
About 770 acres. Mostly barley + 59 ha oats
It's just occurred to me that when the Spring campaign is finished it will complete my 20th consecutive season of drilling !!
I had a tot up of what acres I have covered in that time and reckon it's about 43,000....
There's been some terrible autumns in there, 2000 / 2008 / 2012 and now the horrendous spring of 2018
Yep can’t wait !!all multiples of 4 ;-) here is looking forward to 2020 / 2022 !
