I assume its just road driving needs white ,you can plough on red surley it's agricultural workI’ve seen people travel hundreds of miles in old beaver tail lorries to take part in ploughing matches. Assuming that the truck is running on DERV then the tiny cost of running an MF35 for 2 hours whilst trying to scratch a furrow would surely be insignificant?

Aye that's me, regularly go to Herefordshire from Carlisle, about 500 mile round trip on white, tractor uses about 12 litres over 2 days, lorry about 140 litres,I’ve seen people travel hundreds of miles in old beaver tail lorries to take part in ploughing matches. Assuming that the truck is running on DERV then the tiny cost of running an MF35 for 2 hours whilst trying to scratch a furrow would surely be insignificant?

The way I see it is, red was allowed for the use to promote your business as a farmer / contractor, this is why it was allowed.I assume its just road driving needs white ,you can plough on red surley it's agricultural work
