Did you have any success doing this or is it just worth paying for the proper nylon pads and doing it right, considering it’s a hitch out job to do it?
Not gotten round to it yet but yes 10mm nylon 66 will be ordered for it as soon as sown and lambing out of way.
Can the actual pieces be bought off the shelf ready to fit or do you have to make them up ?
Was just going to use jigsaw, the correct length is avaliable without buying full meter square.

Yeah they're the parts but I'd imagine they will cost much more than just buying the plastic and bolts off the shelf. And dealer price would be more than that again, god knows what John Deere charges for them.
