View attachment 457946 is is only my second go with it, was a bit windy the first time.
Its a Syma X8HG
Decided to try a cheapy first to see if it was worth spending more
And I am tight;)

I did the same as you, bought a syma first, used it a bit then had a bad landing(crashed into house roof) and damaged the camera, so decided to upgrade, got a phantom 3 standard from amazon which had a minor hiccup but after some 1st class customer service from amazon got it sorted out and have ended up with 2 phantom 3 standards

It's a lot easier to fly, when you let go of the controls it stays where it is, so you can stop flying and pan round or alter the gimbal without worrying about the drone drifting away. I'm needing to get out with mine a bit more, was out yesterday at the plough and got some pics and videos, needing to start editing them at some point, the 2 below are just as they came off the drone.
