I read about a bad drought in sustralia where the wheat frazzled away to nothing, but then heavy rain came six weeks before “ harvest”
, new tillers sprouted out, and they harvested a good crop, 2 months late.

Still no measurable amount here. It’s been spitting about most of the day, but most of the time drying faster than it’s wetting.
 
Nothing here but a few drops to make the dust in the yard sticky in north Notts. Forecast was some heavy stuff but could have been in a t shirt all day
