I read about a bad drought in sustralia where the wheat frazzled away to nothing, but then heavy rain came six weeks before “ harvest”
, new tillers sprouted out, and they harvested a good crop, 2 months late.

It's a bit of a change from the 14 day forecast just 2 days ago.

Still, I'd rather have a soaking now than it stayed dry as a bone until the combine appeared.

Still no measurable amount here. It’s been spitting about most of the day, but most of the time drying faster than it’s wetting.

Nothing here but a few drops to make the dust in the yard sticky in north Notts. Forecast was some heavy stuff but could have been in a t shirt all day

Same here , the 24mm forecast over the next 16 days has now been revised to 4mm , aleast it’s over cast and cooler for a few days
