No diet is mature bale silage from never slurried land W crop wheat chopped wheat straw conc, water, mins ,mag & dry cow conc for close upsDo you feed grass silage/haylage that has had slurry applied??
We had one like that, 3 weeks after calving,bloods showed low Mg in that one.We seem to constantly fighting with M Fever, even get the odd one part way through lactation.
We use them, but it’s better to prevent it.
