Drying a small batch of oilseed.

I've swathed a small area of oilseed for hss.
It's not looking like we'll get it combined dry enough to be confident it won't heat.
Any suggestions to take a few % out of it.

presuming its not more than you need for seed plus a bit ,spread it in the bottom of a grain trailer and stand it in the sun the warmth from the metal will do the job just shovel it about a bit a few times ,fairly easy and no mess

Generally swathed rape dried more quickly than sprayed rape here.
If you are worried can you find or borrow a grain cooling spear /pedestal. Maybe need to wrap some hessian round it. If small quantity tip trailer up to heap it against back door round spear.
