Our grass has virtually stopped growing again! Had a nice rotation planned and the weather has buggered it again! Spent all of July doing yard work and feeding silage, looks like September is going to be the same. Can't wait to wave goodbye to 2018's weather!

I thought the same yesterday. Absolutely chucking it down today

Probably within 20 miles and had mist or rain most days for last 2 weeks. But that’s why some cows are out 6 weeks earlier
  6. Same here again, just greened up, Red clover has doubled in a week but has now stopped after grazing.
It could be a long winter!

Have not had enough in south Cheshire yet, but should not be wishing for too much at this time of year.

You’ve far too much time on your hands!

Would sooner have 2018 weather than 2017’s!

If anyone needs some rain please shout up as you can have ours. Need a prolonged dry spell now to help try and get the autumn jobs done.

Same here. Last rain two weeks Ago and that was just 2 mm. Ground is rock hard and dust under the tops.

Forage crops really need a drink now or stubble turnips will have no bulb.
