Turn sheep in be easier ?You’ve far too much time on your hands!
Would sooner have 2018 weather than 2017’s!

Nobody moves clamp silage around this time of year.Nothing worse than a cornish road, and meeting a silahe trailer with 25 ton of clamp silage in it. They cant go back.
did you not have enough rain to even get it going again? We had about 3 weeks of strong growth through August, but all of a sudden it's come to a juddering haltwhat do you mean again ?

Been very lucky here in North Wales, have had rain of varying amounts quite regularly since late July, but also many days with hill fog, which might not up the rainfall totals much, wets the ground pretty good, one of the few benefits of farming @1200ft, we get hill fog quite often .Not seen grass like that since May 2017
Our grass has virtually stopped growing again! Had a nice rotation planned and the weather has buggered it again! Spent all of July doing yard work and feeding silage, looks like September is going to be the same. Can't wait to wave goodbye to 2018's weather!
You finished harvest?Tis proper yer in East Cornwall. Just come in from rowing up 3rd Cut silage. Decided to cut it as grass getting away from cattle.
Best summer for years, more of the same please.
You finished harvest?
Gosh that’s some fertiliser rate, 5 tons to the acre!Drying out again? Is this a joke mines never got going!! Half the Second cut came to a head in July not long after it was slurryed, slurry has eventually washed in and the 90 acres of second cut I’ve got has received 18 ton of fertiliser before we had some rain about 3 week ago. It has Greened up and the half that came to a head has bulked up some but need some serious rain to keep it going or it will be Christmas before it’s ready to cut
I worked it out at 200kg per acre, 100 kg per acre over 3 weeks ago and 100 kg 6 weeks agoGosh that’s some fertiliser rate, 5 tons to the acre!
