Mine got rained on at 6am last Saturday morning, still damp on their backs at midday...almost dry at 1 pm,gave the shearers the nod and they turned up and eventually got going at 3pm..ran out of time and are coming back for the last 40 tomorrow....
It's just absolutly hammered it down for half an hour:banghead::banghead::banghead:

Had rain nearly every day, got one dry day but there still not dry enough to clip. Managed to do about 90 last night, bloody midges had a good feed:mad:

Been clipping here Tues, Wed and today. Yesterday was abit damp, and there had been a shower very early this morning... ewes dry and ready to go by 12 though.

@Gator hope things hold for you... it's to rain solid Sunday and Monday here!!

Dry Tues and Wed, so I SHOULD be finished up here for going to the Highland

Got 550 done on wednesday, had rain in the night but shearers were clipping at 8.30am, slightly damp on the surface but we just cracked on, happened in previous years but never had a damning off the 'bwmb'
