Bought a 7610 last October from a dealer who had 'restored' it. Was delivered straight to the independent mechanic I use to sort out a PTO oil seal leak. It sat in his workshop all winter and we only got it back last week. Turns out it needed quite a bit of work doing on it.
The dual power was working when I test drove it. The floor switch had broken and been replaced by one on the dash. My mechanic did not realise this and rewired the switch to the rear work lights.
The Dual power switch is in the top left of the photo but cannot find any likely loose wires to reconnect. I have tried to find wire from dual power solenoid off side of gearbox but struggling to see due to diesel tank. Any ideas what I should be looking for? Heavy duty or light duty wires?
Above photo is of top of gearbox. 2 heavy duty wires coming out which eventually go to back of dash I think. Are these dual power or for gearbox neutral position?
Am I correct in thinking there should be a cooler here for the dual power? Its 19 years since I sold my original 7610. The pipes from the side of the gearbox are just looped together . There has been quite a lot of bodging on this tractor by previous owners!
