Dung Trailers

We'll need to replace our tipper trailer soon as if the sides become more bowed out it'll be more of a flatbed but looking at most of the 10ton tipper trailers for sale 2nd hand most have just a swinging tailgate which would have to come off and I am a little worried that it would then go like ours though what I think hasn't helped that is it is a drop down sided trailer, the difference in price seems to be a fair bit as one with a swinging tailgate seems to be around £2500 while one with a hydraulic tailgate I haven't seen one yet much less than a new trailer costs even for a 10 year old one that is showing its age.

Any advice would be appreciated thanks

Could you get a proper dumper for the muck / any stone or clay and keep the drop side also?

I sold an 8 ton Marshall I used to muck out with the silage sides on for 14 t nc dump with magic door
It will last a lifetime but volume is poor so I would check sizes if going for a dump trailer

I'm seriously considering merrick login purpose built muck trailer with barn doors and ramps at front for our liveries. They will convert your old grain trailer as well

Sorry just thought you probably just want normal muck trailer
my sister would love one but at the moment she will have to make do with the old Weeks trailer and the dung ramp or shed's before they're cleaned out.

Those trailers on the link look interesting as the 14ton dumper is cheaper than the prices we have had for 10t tippers though I don't know it would compare in size to a 10ton grain trailer.
