what do you call a proper mask ?Just get a proper mask and put dust filters on it.
what do you call a proper mask ?
I have always used the throw away ones, good ones not the cheap rubbish which is fine for me but @farmerclare gets all steamed up as she wears glasses
thanks everyone
its only for 10 minutes while we bed down with one bale each day, but some of the bales are a bit dusty [not fusty ]
I may try @Kiwi Pete @s idea first as it not so much loss if it get left in the shed
@Henarar
I use these underground and I can't fault them
I also wear safety glasses and over glasses as our dust levels are to say the least extreme !!!
soft rubber mask so allows you to wear glasses without pressing them into the bridge of your nose .
I can wear one in 48 C plus easily for 8 hours without any discomfort .
Not sure about your dust levels but to give you an idea of ours ,when we are cutting or loading out you cant see beyond a meter !!
They maybe more expensive but in my opinion are worth the cost (firm pays ) as I am not tempted to remove it during the shift .
Another thing I can't wear the paper disposable masks as they irritate the hell out of me .
Good luck in your search .

the ones we use have a valve still seem to get the problemI’ve got some 3M disposable masks that have a small plastic valve on the front, about the size of a 50p, that opens when you breath out and that directs the air flow downwards.
Anyone know if you can get dust masks that folk who wear glasses can use and not end up with their glasses steamed up ?
I too use the same mask with glasses no problems@Henarar
