dysect/click shortage

its the horrible dribbling gun and the air valve that gets dysect everywhere , had pretty good results with crovect as well on fat lambs .

Used clik on March/April born lambs at 1st hept vac in mid May. Never had any problems so far. Only use crovect on lambs that are shorn at weaning as I find they are bothered by flys then.
Try to stay away from dysect as I get really itchy and come up in a rash, hate the stuff!!!

I always do mine in a pen rather than a race which doesn't help. Next time I'm gonna wear leggings and tie feed sacks round my legs as well see if that helps. Ok I may look a bit of a twit but it's got to be better than sitting here with itching burning knees even after two showers today!

We have had fly in several lambs that were only shorn a fortnight ago.

I expect even those shredding sheep are getting it !?!

Nope - no shedders struck whatsoever in my flock...its bad in the Lleyns I have though.

Nope. That said, if they were on watermeadows I might have Ectofly'd them when the weather got humid. Nothing was fly sprayed until June (semi-shedders and Lleyn...) It is only the lleyns that have been subsequently struck.

Spoke to soon about dysect. Had two ewe lambs today with a patch of maggot about the size of a 10p. Admittedly they wer pretty dirty but they wer only treated about 3 weeks ago!
