Any farm work around Birmingham.

Some experience in Dairy but willing to learn anything as I have a lot to learn. I’m hard working and trustworthy physically able and eager to get stuck in.

Willing to give anything a go. I’d like to get permanent position as I have a family to support.

There are some but not as many as in other regions of the country.

I’m not specifically looking for Dairy. Just a way into Agriculture (preferably livestock) work. I’m open to pretty much anything.

Best of luck, I hope you get sorted.

There is some sort of jobs section on here somewhere if that helps. Don't know how busy it is mind.

I think you've tried on here before? http://midlandfarmer.co.uk/?p=4288 Saw this the other day, it reminded me of you; although they need another farm to expand, as they already have someone they want to partner with, as they have a diverse business they might at least need some part time help or be able to point you to another local farm. Good luck and keep trying.

What is your current job? Do you currently have your own house? Are you financially stable? Make sure you leave current employment on good terms

These are all things employers are looking for, unfortunately there are to many people moving around the industry avoiding the taxman because they don’t have a tax code and then moving onto the next job every 3 months leaving chaos behind them.

I’m sure if you could show that those 4 things above you’d be very attractive to some good units regardless of your little experience

Good luck!

Yes to all of the above.
I currently work as an assistant accountant which is driving me insane. Hence why I got a little experience in farming and have decided to make a career change

Just being nosy but how so?
Way back when I was doing A levels, accountancy was one of my favourite subjects.
To the point where if I didn't have this darn cow milking fetish I believe I would have gone down the road of being an actuary.

Accounting is something I can do but I don’t enjoy it in the slightest.
I’ve got some qualifications but the job it’s self isn’t gratifying at all.

I love being out doors. Feel like I need to be put to work and I love animals and their welfare. Looking at excel for 40 hours a week is not what I want to do until I retire which a loooong way off

I'm sure there is a couple of folks on here who left main stream employment to go farming. So it is doable I'm sure.
