I have been asked to look at the brakes on an early Manitou tomorrow (it does not have any at present)

Anybody tell me how the early Manitou brakes operate, are they similar to hydraulic brakes on LGV's

Thanks for the advice
The more I am reading the more I am thinking I will advise he gets someone who is experienced with Manitou to look at it.
My experience is more attuned to Beford TK trucks and D series Fords

Until I go and look tomorrow I have no idea as to year and Model (Nor does the owner)

It honestly baffles me how an owner doesn't know what machine they have 🤷‍♂️ Seems plenty of them though:ROFLMAO:

Let me know tomorrow what model it is and serial number of machine, might want serial number of axle too depending on what model it is.

Simplest / reliable Manitou ever made - bomb proof - pity they are all now high ours and worn out - customers for them every week - worth rebuilding to very good order - then last another 20 yrs with no hassle.
