Eastern Europeans are going to come back as Brits can't cope

Our local ESSO has had a delivery this evening, but the tanker only left 30,000 litres and not a full 36,000 litres - I find that v. Strange considering that every bulletin begins with “there is no shortage of fuel”.

Unless it is only carrying petrol which is lighter than diesel, I don't think a tanker can actually carry the weight of the full 36000L

Welcoming words from the home secretary . I'm sure they'll be falling over themselves...
Home Secretary announces plan to set up task force to deport any EU lorry drivers who remain in the U.K. after 24th Dec. Ms Patel said “It is a special privilege for lorry drivers to be able come here and work and it shouldn’t be abused”
As long as Boris gets Christmas done seems to be the message.

It's beginning to look a lot like Brexit 🎵🎶🎵...

Where is your source for this?
I call it rubbish. I can't find any proof of this anywhere other than a single shite stiring troll on twitter.

Whatever about that, the issuing of temporary visas, for Europeans to come and help out, which expire on Christmas Eve, is surely “world beating”, self defeating arrogance and downright stupidity.
Why the hell, would anyone lower themselves to take up an opening like that. Why would anyone accept a welcome which basically says, you should be glad to come here, and by the way, we don’t want the likes of you around one minute after midnight 24 December?

Why are they lowering themselves? It might be a better temp position than they can get at home, happens all over the world. Stay for the work then feck off.
Why do Irish tractor drivers prefer temp work with contractors in England/Scotland/Wales/America than stay at home and work for the locals?

Irish tractor lads go to experience the world, and broaden their horizons. Make a bit of cash as well. Pretty damn sure though, that if they were “asked”, to come to any country in October, when that country was in a crisis, and they were told to be out to fudge, by midnight Christmas Eve, they would stay home or go elsewhere.
European drivers are now in demand in the EU, where they have freedom of movement. They don‘t have to put up with the get to fkukk out on Christmas Eve attitude.
