I think you best keep the Physical for repeats and send the Djerk to me đź‘Ť
How many would you be happy with holding 60%? I want to get some fresh blood into a15 year closed herd hence why I have done this plus 10 heifers we have AI'd which we pd on next Thursday but they were served on sight and not seen any returns.

Yes I think so, as long as you got 40% on next service

My experience has been about 50%, I wont bother synchronising again, plus its expensive, and if you also AI twice.
Am AI'ing heifers and some cows just now, just on natural heats, just means you have to keep them close to the shed.

My vet used prids to line up 12 cows for programmed AI we used 2 Conan, 6 Ironda, 3 Pavarotti and a Pedro.
We got up at 5 am to remove prids and inject enzaprost (think that is what it was called) for a 2pm appointment with Genus technician to inseminate 56 hours after removal. All cows were mad a bulling bar one hence the Pedro but she was on next day with 2 others that were still standing so they were re inseminated. Will find out in a fortnight how many come over🤞

Had vet to PD cows today 9 out of 12 in calf very very happy with that, the one we inseminated with Pedro NIC and obviously the one I really wanted in calf to Conan wasn't (trying to breed myself a Conan bull to use on my herd)so I have put her with a Tomshoice Nation son out of a Hamlet cow.

There was a good Conan son at Carlisle in May, as good a one as I’ve seen anyway!

An AA Bull does not give much trouble lively young calves, polled and AA premium on sale plus good grass cattle. Whats no to like?
